Pharmacist Technician
We're looking for an organised, dependable and detail-orientated individual to join our Pharmacy Team in Bristol who will support the Senior Clinical Pharmacist in delivering a safe medical service.

The Pharmacist Technician will be responsible for providing professional advice and support to the Clinicians within Mendip Vale Medical Group (MVMG). Working to ensure processes are optimised to achieve highly effective, safe and patient centred care. You will support the Senior Clinical Pharmacist in delivering a safe, high performing; effective, sustainable, innovative person centred medical service.
Some responsibilities include:
- To undertake a variety of duties, including managing repeat prescription requests, resolving queries within your span of control and providing prescripts for clinical review and signature.
- Updating dates following medication reviews
- Facilitate and documenting correct addition & or removal of medications upon receipt of discharge summaries, secondary care or community clinic letters.
- Updating repeat medication list such as synchronising durations and removing medications not ordered within a defined period.
We take our responsibilities to safeguard our patients seriously and all successful applicants will need to undertake an Enhanced DBS check for children and adults, which we pay for.
